Just Sayin'

I heard this quote on an episode of 'The City' during a conversation between DVF and Whitney.

"Absence is to love as wind is to fire." - DVF

When a fire is small, a gust of wind will put it out, but when a fire is large a gust of wind will spread the fire. Such is love and absence. Small love diminishes with absence, while Big Love gets even bigger.
